About
The studio, and the person behind it.
ZIRA Technologies is a small AI studio in Quetta, Balochistan. Small enough that you'll always know exactly who is doing your work.
Arsalan Nasar
Founder & Chief Executive · Quetta, Pakistan
I started ZIRA because I wanted to build AI systems properly rather than quickly. Most of what gets sold as "AI" in this market is a language model with a form in front of it. The interesting work — and the difficult work — is everything underneath: getting the right data out of a real system, computing the answer correctly, and refusing to guess when the data isn't there.
I'm currently completing a BS in Information Technology at BUITEMS while building the studio. That's stated plainly here because I'd rather you know it from me than wonder about it later.
Experience, stated separately
These are two different timelines and I don't merge them into one bigger-sounding number.
Technical SEO
Since February 2023. Site architecture, crawlability, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and search visibility work — including an ongoing engagement with a regional news publisher.
AI & LLM application development
Retrieval systems, agent design, intent routing, prompt-injection hardening, and the architecture that keeps a language model from inventing numbers it shouldn't.

What we don't take on
A small studio that says yes to everything is a small studio that disappoints someone. These are outside what ZIRA does well today, and we'll say so rather than learn on your budget:
- Large-scale cloud infrastructure and container orchestration projects
- Training or fine-tuning models from scratch
- Mobile app development
- Anything requiring a team larger than the work actually justifies
If your project needs one of these, we'll tell you in the first conversation rather than the third invoice.
The standard
Everything published by ZIRA has to be true. In practice that means: no superlatives, no "Pakistan's first," no client logos we haven't earned, no accuracy percentages we haven't measured, and no capability listed until it exists and works. When something is in development, this site says so — including on the products page, where it would be easier not to.
This isn't modesty. In a market full of AI vendors overclaiming, being the one that survives a technical conversation is the whole advantage.
The name
ZIRA comes from the Arabic root ز-ر-ع — to sow, to plant. Not the seed itself, but the act of planting.
The distinction matters. Planting is total effort and it belongs entirely to the one who plants: prepare the ground, carry the water, judge the season, set the seed at the right depth. What grows is a separate question, and never was ours to decide.
So the studio is named after its work, not its result. In every field we enter, intelligence is planted at the foundation rather than bolted on afterwards.
